Resident Options

The Faithful Living Personal Care Community activities director considers mental, emotional and spiritual needs of the residents as well as social and physical health.

Our Exercise Program

There’s an exercise class which is very routine, incorporating stretching and range-of-motion exercises to maintain agility. In addition, more fun, physically active games are employed. Faithful Living has a nice variety of resources for residents to pursue leisure activities, either alone or with another person, in the social hall, lobby, or west lounge. These activities include table games, card games, jigsaw puzzles, movies, music, a pool table, books, magazines, TV, piano, coloring, and word finds. Our staff benefits from visits by LADA (Lancaster Activities Directors Association).

Entertainment Programs

Faithful Living Personal Care Community regularly has live music entertainment graciously provided by outside musicians and singers. The entertainers range from school students to adults who love to share their talents. Our programs are held on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Educational and Off Campus Trips

Our residents travel in our van to several destinations. Here’s just a few examples: Indian Museum, Adamstown Library, countryside foliage viewing, and touring the community to see decorative Christmas home lighting.

Spiritual Enrichment

Church of Lancaster County and John’s Inspirational provide in-house services, music and other spiritual opportunities for our residents. We also offer several hymn sing and Bible studies during the month.
